DescriptionA case study project for a Real Estate Finance & Investment course. We were given set parameters to work inside of to create a feasible project. We leveraged our $12 million in capital to build a $38 million mixed-use project, which included 168,000 square feet of residential apartments and 42,000 square feet of retail space. After holding the property for ten years, it is projected to sell for over $83.8 million after sales commision, resulting in an unlevered IRR of 14% and a levered IRR of 20%.
